The CCCE is a group of CEO's from Canada's largest companies. It actively researches and advocates public policy. A list of its members can be found at: http://www.bcni.com/en/about/members.php

Led by Chief Executive and President Thomas d’Aquino (founder of Intercounsel Limited), the CCCE was created in 1976 and currently consists of some 150 CEO's and entrepreneurs. The CCCE represents more than C$1.3 trillion in assets and C$750 billion in annual revenues. The entire Council meets two times each year to address Canadian as well as North American and global issues. Such issues include corporate governance in Canada, NAFTA, and international trade.

The CCCE has played an important role in Canada's economy. It organized a Roundtable with India that led to the Foreign Investment Protection and Promotion Agreement and another Roundtable with Jordan in the presence of King Abdullah II.
